Committed to Strong Constituent Service

In 2007 the residents of the 4th District elected me to represent them in the Onondaga County Legislature because they were confident in my ability to represent them with a strong voice as I did for four years as a Salina Town Councilor. I will continue to ask questions, challenge the status quo and stand up for what is right for our district, even if what is right is not the popular opinion among other Legislators. We need to make County government more accessible to you. I believe it is important to put party politics aside and focus on non-partisan problem solving to get the best results for you and our district.

I have a record of looking out for my constituents. For example, over the past year and a half, I’ve worked closely with residents to move forward on several different infrastructure and public safety concerns.  We are finally seeing some positive results with sewer issue in the Floradale Road area and while more still needs to be done, without a strong voice, this issue might never have been addressed.  Electronics Parkway was repaved and a traffic light was installed at the Corner of Hopkins and Buckley Road after the County DOT verified the accident data that I submitted with help from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department.  It is the combined efforts of many different agencies that things like this get done.  My responsibility and commitment to you is to bring your concerns to the attention of those who can make the positive changes necessary to improve our community.
